Celebrating Lotus’ achievements in the 2006 British GT3 Championship, Lotus has announced the Exige S British GT Special Edition. The Lotus Exige S British GT Special Edition is based on the Lotus Exige S with design changes to resemble that of the GT3 race car. The car has a quad-stripe paint theme, seven twin-spoke forged alloy wheels, new sport bucket seats, Lotus Sport Cadena decals along with “British GT” badges all around. The regular version of the Lotus Exige S British GT Special Edition has the same 1.8 liter four cylinder engine that gives the car the ability to do 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 148 mph.
Lotus has also created a special GT pack for the car that give the Exige S British GT Special Edition a total horsepower of 243 giving it the ability to do 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.
