Ford today unveiled the new 2008 Ford Escape which will be shown off at the LA Motor Show starting this Friday. The 2008 Ford Escape has recieved a totally new look with a much bolder deisgn on the outside and a new sleeker look on the inside. Under the hood the new 2008 Ford Escape comes with a 2.3 liter 16-valve Duratec 23 I-4 engine producing 153 horsepower and a 3.0 liter 24-valve V-6 Duratec 30 engine producing 200 horsepower. Ford also continued the hybrid version of the vehicle which can run on 100 percent electric power up to about 30 mph, maximizing in-city fuel economy.
